Gum for Renewables

is created during the production of vegetable oils, such as soybean oil, sunflower oil, palm oil and other oils commonly used in food and industrial processes. Water is added during the refining process of these oils to remove impurities. This results in a mixture of water, fatty acids, vegetable matter and other impurities, known as the co-product gum.
