Together with our partners, we contribute to a circular economy. How do we do that?

By using organic residual streams as renewable resources for the production of feed, for example.

Partnership with cattle farming

Cattle farming plays a crucial role in the transition to a circular society. As the world's population continues to grow, the demand for food and (animal) protein continues to rise.

The demand for a circular food system has never been higher. The transition to this food system is an important role to be played by the cattle farmer. The Dutch agricultural sector, and with it cattle farming, has the lowest environmental impact worldwide. Partly due to its high-quality productivity and efficient use of second-degree raw materials. Together with the cattle farmer, we close the cycle.

Renewables

Partnership biogas and water treatment plant

At Looop, we value co-products using Looop's ladder. These co-products are a source of valuable raw materials that were previously discarded. These by-products are now upgraded. Co-products are also a good addition to the menu composition for biogas and water treatment plants or can be used as soil improvers.

The cooperation between biogas plants, water treatment plants and Looop is therefore all about a circular society. Together, we ensure that we reduce our footprint on the climate and environment.
