Looop Logistics has put ten new DAF XG 480 trucks into service. These vehicles are the latest addition to the rapidly modernizing fleet and belong to the highest VECTO efficiency class.
Since 2024, Looop Logistics, operating in both Germany and the Netherlands, has been actively working on the sustainable modernization of its fleet. Over the past year and a half, a total of 22 new trucks have been acquired, including 16 DAF XG 480 and 6 Volvo FH 500 models. These investments are part of a broader strategy aimed at reducing emissions, increasing operational efficiency, and preparing for the introduction of the Dutch road charging system for trucks, set to take effect on July 1, 2026.
The new trucks are not only fuel-efficient but also well-equipped for increasing third-party transport assignments. Although Looop has its own workshop, the reduced maintenance needs of these modern vehicles result in higher availability, less downtime, and greater flexibility in day-to-day planning.
Fast Delivery Through Strong Collaboration
The delivery and deployment of the ten new vehicles progressed remarkably quickly. Within just two and a half weeks, the trucks were produced and delivered fully road-ready. This achievement is the result of close collaboration between DAF dealer Van Tilburg-Bastianen (TB), Knapen Deurne, Arton Reclame, and Looop Logistics.
Looop Logistics operates a fleet of 50 tank trailers, which are used 24/7 to transport liquid products throughout Northwest Europe.
