For Corné, returning to Looop feels like coming back to a familiar and trusted chapter. What has always stayed with him most is the company culture. A career in Logistics
After completing his studies at MEAO in Nijmegen, Corné entered the logistics sector almost immediately. He started his career at Huisman International, a logistics company operating between the Netherlands, Germany, and Great Britain. Since then, he has remained active in transport and logistics throughout his entire professional career. Over the years, he has held various positions within the industry, gaining broad experience in planning, transport management, process improvement, and team development.
He now brings this diverse background to Looop Logistics, where he works together with the team to build a reliable and efficient logistics organization.
Focus on collaboration and process improvement
At Looop, Corné is responsible for maintaining and further improving the logistics organization. His work includes supporting the planning department, maintaining contact with drivers, and overseeing administrative processes. In addition, he places a strong focus on process optimization and strengthening the organization as a whole.

"The phrase ‘waste does not exist’ is something you hear more and more often these days. It is great to be part of that."
Within Looop, logistics forms an essential link in the circular process. Valuable residual streams are collected, transported, and processed every day into new raw materials for animal feed, pet food, and other sustainable applications. A reliable logistics organization is indispensable in making this possible. "What appeals to me is that logistics here directly contributes to circularity. Together, we ensure that valuable raw materials reach the right destination and can be reused. That not only makes the work challenging, but also gives it additional meaning."
At the same time, he sees plenty of opportunities and challenges for the future, particularly in the areas of sustainable fuels, further digitalization, and future proof logistics solutions. According to him, these developments are exactly what make the sector dynamic and exciting.
