Corn Energy suitable for Livestock feed
is released during the extraction and refining of glucose from corn. When the starch present in the maize is processed into glucose, the glucose is refined in one of the last process steps. This creates the co-product Corn Energy. In addition to easily digestible dextrose, the co-product contains a relatively high proportion of easily digestible unsaturated fat. As a result, the energy value of Corn Energy is high, the taste is good and it fits well in rations for young pigs.
