Hamino Stärke
is released during the wet processing of wheat flour into wheat starch for human and technical application. Prior to this wet process, the cleaned wheat is ground to wheat flour. During the wet process, the flour is washed, whereby the starch fractions and the wheat gluten are separated. Hamino Stärke has a high level of starch. In order to give Hamino Stärke the desired usage properties, an evaporation step takes place and sulfuric acid and formic acid are added immediately after the separation process to steer the further natural preservation in the desired direction.
Quality
The product complies with laws and regulations. Mycotoxins, insecticides, pesticides and herbicides are tested according to the GMP+ FSA. The product is non-GMO (according to Regulation (EC) 1829/2003 and 1830/2003).
