For entrepreneurial and innovative Limburg
LIOF is the Regional Development Association (ROM) for the province of Limburg. They ensure the strengthening of Limburg's economic structure and sustainable growth.
LIOF is there for every SME in Limburg with an innovative idea, a business plan or a financing request, as well as for entrepreneurs looking to establish themselves in Limburg. They help entrepreneurs, large and small, to innovate, collaborate and invest.
In addition to LIOF, eight regional development associations are active in the Netherlands: in Northern Netherlands, Eastern Netherlands, North Brabant, Utrecht, Zeeland, South Holland, North Holland and Flevoland.
How our partnership was established
Collaboration between LIOF and Looop developed naturally, as we were already collaborating regularly on various projects.
Looop participated, for example, in the first edition of the Business Innovation Program Food, a joint programme organised by the Regional Development Associations (ROMs). As one of the ROMs, LIOF supported us in this endeavour. Looop's acceleration in innovation created greater synergy. Consequently, the collaboration between Looop and LIOF has intensified over the years.
Mission Limburg
Energy, circularity, health and digitisation.
Mission Limburg (Missie Limburg) is LIOF's strategic course in which, together with entrepreneurs and partners, they take steps to achieve their objectives and focus on four transitions: energy, circularity, health and digitisation. Looop stands for entrepreneurship with an impact. We strive for a 100% circular world where waste does not exist. We do this by closing circles to achieve circularity. In doing so, we actively contribute to the circular transition, with LIOF at our side.
Together, we’re working towards a healthier and more sustainable Limburg!
About the collaboration
LIOF supports Looop's continued sustainable growth.
The collaboration focuses on various areas, such as strengthening networks and connections within Limburg, providing support for subsidy applications and creating consensus. The collaboration also provides assistance with investment matters, helps identify funding opportunities and provides guidance on project implementation. Thanks to these joint efforts, we can stimulate innovative initiatives and promote regional development.
